Will you BD after you get your BFP?
I was just lurking over at SAL and a lot of the girls haven't been BD'ing since their BFP. I know that after we got ours we did BD and then lost the baby. I know it's not related at all, but I think I'd still be a little nervous.
How will you feel?

I've been thinking about that today too. Getting a BFP didn't have any impact on our sex life last time, and I know in my head it doesn't make any difference, but........
I'll guess I'll just be playing it by ear when the time comes.
I don't know! When I was pregnant and heard that you could spot afterwards I was freaked out to do it and see spotting. So now that I've had a miscarriage that started out with spotting, I'm not sure what I'll do when it comes to that time! I'll be pretty scared I think!
I plan to ask my doctor.
Like you, I miscarried very soon after having sex. I know that the sex didn't cause the m/c, but I also know I will be nervous anyway.
I have heard that OBs will in some cases recommend abstaining through the first tri, so I will definitely ask my doc first. If she says it's ok, I'll probably just proceed with caution - nothing too strenuous.

Honestly, I think DH will be more scared than I am because its not his body and he was so freaked out by our loss and he'll be afraid of hurting me and/or baby. ?

That's a good question... In fact, just today DH asked me when we will have sex again, as he was feeling horny and I told him "Ain't gonna happen in the 2 week wait..." I told him I didn't want to mess things up... ha ha
If/when we get our BFP I definitely will not be having sex for atleast a few weeks. I want to know that everything is OK. I think I will wait until atleast a heartbeat has been detected. Who knows, it could be sooner, could be later, but definitely I will be very insecure and nervous once PG again and will definitely be living life on the cautious side.
we did with our 1st pg and i spotted after everytime...i asked our ob and he said it wasn't connected and we could still have sex..then we found out our baby's heart stopped....With the second pg we tried to have sex once but we were both too freaked out and stopped in the middle...it didn't seem to matter since we lost that one too
With our next bfp we will hold off til the second tri...

I have a weak cervix...so we will abstain for our pregnancy!
DH doesn't like that..! But don't forget girls...there are other ways to please DH!
