All I can do right now is swear!  The guy from craigslist just called me about the crib/furniture that I posted about below and said someone called and offered $100 more than his asking price and will be there in 30 minutes to pick it up.  Curse this living in the middle of nowhere and not being able to get to things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I'm going to go mope now.  :(

    That sucks! After your post I went to my local CL to see if anything good showed up.. if it makes you feel better, there's nothing decent for offer here. Looks like we'll be paying big money for a sturdy crib, too. :(?

    Sounds fishy to me!! Who would really call and offer $100 more for a crib and dresser right after you bought it.  You're probably better off not dealing with that person... even if it wasnt fishy, the seller (if they were a decent person) would not have accepted another offer.

    Awww!!! NO!!  That stinks.  I told my DH (a lawyer) and he said you could sue him! Hehe!  You two had a contract and he broke it.....  ;)  Everything I mention to him relates to law in some way!  (It gets really annoying).

    I agree with Mrs. D~S in that it sounds fishy to me.  I think you are better off not dealing with him.  You'll find something else!!
