Does anyone have any tips for the 2ww; how not to over-analyze every pelvic twinge or every trip to the bathroom? I found myself counting my trips to the bathroom yesterday at 2DPO-probably not the best idea!
Remember that your body prepares for pregnancy during the 2ww whether or not a fertilized egg appears on the scene, so looking for symptoms will almost always drive you mad.?
Of course, I am a big huge hypocrite since I was convinced I was pg last cycle and evidently can't follow my own advice. ?
I was getting phantom symptoms before I even o'd, so I don't know that I'd be much help.
Do you like to read? If so, maybe look for a really good book and get wrapped up in it. Or maybe plan a road trip or weekend getaway to help keep your mind off things...
I'm no help either. I'm doing it too. I am also about 3 DPO and already feeling mighty pregnant!!! I'm sure it's all in my head but oh well, it gives me something to get excited about. My parents are visiting and I'm flying home to NC this weekend so I will be busy whether I like it or not this time!! But it's hard not to think about how I"m feeling every minute!!!!

Oh can I relate. This month I'm just driving myself batty already and I'm not even sure I've O'd yet. I've suddenly taken on a bunch of projects to keep me busy.?
I used to analyze everything - for like 4 cycles in a row post m/c. Each time I had managed to convince myself I was PG, based on twinges or frequent urination or changes in hunger or burping ... the list goes on and on. So on cycle #5 post m/c I took a different approach and just ignored all little signs that seemed like symptoms. I mean, you will still feel them and probably still make a note of them - but the best thing to do is to ignore them for days 2-7 dpo. As of 8dpo, if/when you get symptoms, best to tell yourself, "F must beon her way." That's what I did last cycle and am doing right now. I am currently on CD9. It's working for me so far.
Good luck. The 2ww is always a challenge.
