I dont wanna have to wear a pantyliner! That is one of the joys of bein pg, no pads! Or, am I doing this wrong, cause this stuff,some not all of it, comes out onto my panties. And this stuff is expensive! I paid 25 for a 30 day supply and the regular price was over $300..yikes!

I was on Prometrium but It was the oral pill. My insurance hadn't kicked in when I had to have it filled the first time and it was nearly $5 a pill.

Maybe you should ask your Dr. about taking it orally....

I'm taking it orally and I still wear a liner...I get a little bit of yellow discharge and I would rather have it on my liner than on my undies, lol!

I stopped taking it because it made me depressed among other things, but are you using it at night? I noticed the most minimal of leaking when doing it before bed.?

I am also taking a suppository only at night and I have to wear a pad to bed. Even though I'm laying down, quite a bit still comes out. It does blow, but I'll do whatever it takes to keep this baby with me!

I am putting it in as far as I can! My fingers aren't but so long...I have to take it twice a day so night is ok, but the one mid day is the kicker. But ditto cora, whatever it takes!

My supps came with an applicator that allows me to put it up VERY far. You may want to call your pharmacy. Also, I lay down for at least 20 minutes and stay still, that has helped it to become absorbed better, but I still wear a pantyliner. GL!

I have to take it twice a day too. ?Because it makes me tired and light headed I'm waking up at 5:30 to insert the morning dose and I fall back to sleep.

I've been doing the evening dose right before bed around 10:30PM but today I've decided to do it around 8PM so the gap between doses is shorter.

?Even if I have to do this for another two months. I am with you all, whatever it takes to keep this baby.

And yes, lots of it comes out but we must be absorbing some.

I take 2-200mg capsules of prometrium twice a day. The night time dose stays in best because I'm horizontal for at least a couple hours before I wake up to use the bathroom. In the morning I wake up about 40 minutes early if I work that day to insert them and go back to sleep. I still have an almost constant discharge though, but I figure it's a small, yet albeit totally annoying, price to pay for my babies. Plus, my progesterone levels have been super great this pregnancy since I started taking the pro so early and often. Besides some of my pregnant friends who don't take pro still have to wear pantyliners regularly b/c of some sort of discharge, so who knows if you'd have to anyway?

Yeah they SUCKED. I demanded the IM injections. WAY better. Being pricked once a week in the a$$ is so much more manageable than daily leakage...and they made my whoohaa all irritated and sticky feeling. YUCK.
