considering leaving the bump....

Wow.

Being 26 years old and in one of the most stressful situations ever (trying again after two m/c), I really don't need to wake up every morning and feel like I'm in HIGH SCHOOL!

 Yes, I admit the girl's question about sucking in and maybe being pregnant but scared to take a test was rather immature, but to think that so many of you posted back with more immaturity just makes me sick. And no, I don't mean M/S.

 Whoever this person is who is going around and posting fake comments on thebump and the girl's wedding website, I wish you a happy and healthy nine months despite of your evilness, because no one is deserving of death wishes as you so willingly pass out. But I sure hope you take a good long look at yourself before you become a mother.

 You're ruining it for the rest of us. And some of us really need to feel safe, secure, and listened to when we come to these boards.

Please, think before you post!

    I agree completely. There are some other boards out there where women don't have to worry about this type of stuff. And no, it's not your "rainbows and puppies" boards or what every women suggests to another on here that doesn't like the snark- BabyGaga.com. It's women who understand each other and realize that they are probably a little scared or concerned about the huge changes going on in there body. My friend goes to www.ivillage.com and gets a lot of very helpful women on there that answer things nicely, even if they are "stupid" questions. We have ALL asked stupid questions at one point, especially if this is our first pregnancy. What is stupid to one person isn't necessarily to another. I've never understood the catty attitudes on this website and never will.

    i think you shouldnt let things that strangers say on an internet message board affect you in this way. if it makes you unhappy or upsets you then, dont read the boards. i dont put that much weight in it and i try to have fun here & get information & support from other girls.

    We just need good people to fight the Douchenozzle Twatwaffles that try and infect the boards by standing up to them and telling them to go to hell.?

    Are you upset about the snark or about the wedding website- I'm not clear on why you want to leave exactly. FWIW, here's how I feel:

    If someone asks a "stupid" question on here and gets flamed, welcome to the club. It's kind of like an initiation- if you can handle it and learn to laugh at yourself, great! If not, then we usually see a GBCN.?

    I feel that most things are fair here on the boards, and generally people know when to stop the snark. For example- have you seen a someone try to snark at a truly delicate situation? The forces come out and issue the "No-no."

    That said, I also feel that it needs to stay on these boards and not be taken to someone's personal blog or website.

    I'm not sure- last I saw, she was paged and I'm sure some people left personal messages to her, but I don't know if anyone has heard from her.?

    You've got to ignore those posts if you don't like them. I post when I want and in response to what I want. I leave the rest of it alone. By responding to it, you're no better than the original poster. I roll my eyes and keep it going. You've got to do the same or like you said, you need to find an ivillage.

    I know what you mean, believe me....Have you been on the Success After a Loss board? It's not as active, but the posters are so supportive. I've found that some of the boards on the Bump are much more immature than others. Fortunately, motherhood tends to make most people mature VERY fast...whether they like it or not.

    I'm glad you were able to delete the messages, and good call changing the settings. Posting messages on your personal site was a horrid thing for someone to do- completely uncalled for. I am sorry you got dragged through the gauntlet yesterday- I totally understand if you don't want to post here anymore but please know that most of us are not like that. :)??

    I am glad that you were able to delete those messages.  I hope that none of your family/friends saw that garbage.
