My first trip to L&D

I just spent the whole day in l&d because of lower back pain, cramping, and a new ans strange looking discharge. I have also been having some shooting pains in my stomach that seem like flashes of lighting. Everything turn out to be fine, I had two contractions in the 9 hrs I was there.

I felt kind of foolish but the resident was so sweet and gentle, and she told me to come back if I didnt feel better or if my symptoms worsen, which is a change from what I get in my ob's office.

The great news was that Caleb is doing very well, he is 1pound and 3oz and is measuring 22 weeks and 3 days, which is a head of schedule thank goodness...

 I hope you adies are doing well!

    Glad to hear everything is ok! I've had three trips to L&D now and it is always so reassuring to go in and get checked out.

    You should not feel foolish for going to L&D. You did the right thing! You never know if it could be PTL issues. I'm glad everything is okay and that Caleb is looking good.
