You're not crazy i've done the drive to florida from jersey like 5 times, I LOVE IT!
my favorite part is pointing out all the go go bars on I-95 for all the truckers, my favorite one is cafe risquee.....lol!

I also LOVE south of the boarder . . . no idea why . . . i know deep down that its disgusting and dirty but i can't help it i love it and always want to stop but DH never does : )

yeah state troopers can be as$holes for sure. but Virginia is where you got to be REAL careful. they see you are out of state and the second you go over limit they pull you over. my college roommate learned this lesson the HARD way. lol
Oh and the cops are worse in Connecticut!! (We know from experience - oops!)
So Angie if the baby gets up around 4 then we'll be passing you about 3 pm give or take LOL!

We love SOB too! We always stop there. We acutally spent the night once during a drive to FL. The rooms weren't bad either, we were a little worried but the rooms aren't anything like the rest of the place. Favorite billboard is easily, "your always a wiener at Pedro's!"
holy shiit, no kidding! AND they hide in those wooded areas where you can't see them until it's too late!
yeah it didn't seem right when i wrote it . . . . i was trying to figure it out based on how long it takes you to get to FL you said 14 hrs and it takes us 24 . . . i don't know I'm bad at that crap!
its cause you are a good girl and you drive the speed limit. i'm sure the next time i drive with max in the car, it will take me 75 hours!

Hey DH lets just drive across Georgia before going down LOL! Actually Savannah is our special place- our first trip to florida we stopped there overnight and got a wicked good room rate (price of a regular room but we got a king suite) save about 125.00 and we just had a really good night there!
but i'm not adding any extra time in the car with the dog on my lap (b/c he won't just sit in the back by himself) and the baby in the back! LOL
i miss new england talk! you're so wicked hard core beany, lol

I used to drive from GA to Jersey by myself and make it in 12 hours with only two stops ... ah, those were the days.
I can't imagine doing it now with two little ones in tow. You are a braver woman than I!
