did someone say that progesterone can cause spotting?

I don't even have what I would consider spotting, but I have had a little bit of brown-tinged creamy/sticky CM. I'm really not concerned about it, but it could be because of the progesterone? I do notice that when I change my pad in the morning after I use the suppository it is usually a little brown.

    Yes. This was one of the first things my OB told me when she prescribed them for me.

    This is really good to know, I started spotting after taking prometrium and I still spot a little every day.

    Hey,

    I had a brownish discharge type thing for about a week. I of course freaked out and called my dr. who said it is commonly caused by progesterone (wish they would have told me that)! Yours sounds exactly like what I had. 

    I just saw your other post...hope you feel better soon and that you hear back from your dr.
