I'm still early in my pregnancy but already thinking about the nursery. We have a one bedroom and will be sharing the room with our baby. Our bedroom is fairly large and has a little side room (within the bedroom) thing with a window, but the walls are very low and slant on each side. I'm not great at explaining this I'm thinking of just making it a little room for the baby until we'll be able to move, but can't find any ideas for the room anywhere..
Any ideas on how to decorate a room for both you and the baby?
thanks
Re: Anyone not going to have a nursery?
Consider a mini-crib if you are short on space. Also, place a changing pad and a diaper caddy atop your dresser instead of getting a changing table. I would keep the decorations simple and not too juvenile since the baby won't notice anyway.
I know many people who didn't have a separate nursery because they co-slept or because they only had one bedroom. They were fine and one couple actually just used a pack n play with changer on the top for the changing table.
The baby's crib will be placed in our guest bedroom, we can't get rid of our guest room because my mom stays there when she visits from Florida and so does DH's family. I am simply buying a crib (black) to match the bed and room decor.
