Babies: 9 - 12 Months

I'm still hiding out from the creepy girl...

I have a bunch of yard work to do out front but I can see her riding her bike back and forth.  Am I a coward if I just wait until Monday when she's at school?

LOL. Thank you for making me giggle. ?

  • I'm sure she's creepy, but you're an adult and she's a child. I don't think you have to hide out....
  • Here's the story from yesterday:

And she's already banged on the door and my front window 3 times today even though I didn't answer the door.

  • I just read your original post and then this one.  I'm really thinking the girl might have some special needs (maybe you already knew that).  Social skills seem absent.  Maybe some kind of high functioning autism? Who knows..  I don't know if that helps you at all, but I suppose you can try to get your point across using short, direct sentences or using "feeling statements" (when you get close to the baby he feels scared because he doesn't like to be touched...)  I dunno...this could be way way off too....
  • mfield, I definitly appreciate the thoughts and will try it.  I'm kind of awkward when it comes to kids between 5 and 13, especially when I don't really know them.  You might be right about the special needs and I'll try the different explanation approach next time.  Thanks for the advice!
