He said that there is no need to worry! It is not affecting the baby at all. It is blood that is filling up at the top of the vagina (where the semen sits before going into the cervix after intercourse). The rectal pressure is when there is so much blood up there that the body has to find a way to release it. Since the rectum is right next to it, the body uses the rectal pressure to release the blood. Cramping also occurs during this time. The blood came from irritating the cervix and should go away in a few days. Whoa, that is crazy! I'm so happy I'm not having a miscarriage!!
