Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Jeans that fit

DS is kinda tall/thin. He is 50th for weight and 90th for height. He's too tall for the 12 month jeans, but the 18 month jeans fall off his little butt! Maybe I'm not getting the right brand.?

Re: Jeans that fit

  • Carter's usually tend to run a little small.  I know the Gerber clothing definitely runs small.  I just don't know if they do jeans.

  • What about trying a brand that makes a 12-18 month size

  • I find that Old Navy are the only jeans that fit my scrawny kiddo.

  • Old Navy (at least for girls) work great.  Look for brands with an adjustable waist (saver for my 30 lb 3 yo).
  • Thanks for the suggestions! I definately want to make a trip to Old Navy anyway.?
  • We definitely have a long lean one.  I have to alter most of his pants, or pin them.  ON are pretty good, but they don't come with an adjustable waist until toddler sizes.  I've also had luck with Carter's and Children's Place.  He needs an 18 month length, but is skinny enough to wear some of his 6-9 month stuff!  He also has a pair of Sonoma jeans from Kohl's that fit really well.

  • My scrawny DD wears Old Navy too.  And I've never had a problem finding them in adjustable waist, so maybe not all stores carry them in adjustable waist if PP says hers only has them in toddler sizes??  My DD has been wearing the adjustable waist since 6mo.
