Babies: 9 - 12 Months

I wish I could teach DD how to blow her nose

Poor baby is all stuffed up.  I could try the aspirator again, but last time it did nothing.  Any tips?

  • Are you using saline drops before you use the aspirator? It works so much better when you do. I like the Little Noses brand. I found it at Walgreens.

  • Maybe have her in the bathroom with shower steam.  That seems to help DS.

  • Ugh, I know! The aspirator works well for us, but his nose is like a fricking faucet when he's sick. You're not supposed to use the aspirator too much, so I end up following him around with a tissue, wiping snot off his upper lip, which he hates, so he winds up screaming. Good times.
