Nickle size bumps in armpit

In one day I broke out in 4 bumps in my armpit and OMG do they hurt!  One is the size of a marble and is the worst!  I have been rubbing it all day today and took a scalding hot bath but I doubt they are blocked ducts because they aren't going away and I've nursed and pumped more than usual. I think it's wierd that I broke out with 4 ingrown hairs at one time when I've never had them before...has anyone else had this and know any non-painful treatments?

    They may be inflamed lymph nodes.  This can happen when you are getting an infection... are you getting a cold?

    Hmm that is strange. ?I guess I wouldn't think that it is too weird since you are BFing, though. ?Since BFing I sweat sooo much. ?I used to think that I was just losing the water weight I gained during pregnancy. ?But I'm going on 6 months here! ?Maybe you could not shave for a few days and see if they get better?? ?Sorry... Not much help here!

    I had one of these and its only now finally starting to go away. This may be way off, but since mine became noticeable about the time my milk came in, I thought maybe there was a duct under there producing some of it. Mine would get bigger/smaller now and then, but never went away. Its def not an ingrown hair.

    Have you had your PP checkup yet? I would ask then. 4 seems like a lot, but my OB wasn't worried about mine.

    that's weird that the bath didn't help. I had the same thing. I stood in the shower with hot water hitting my armpits for about 10 minutes and they went away.
