I'm not but my decision was based on the fact that they do not work in the crib I have...
I have a mini--crib and the measurements are the same as portable cribs..So I got bumpers that work with a portable crib, but the slats are not the same.. It just did not fit quite right and took away from the prettiness of the wood in the crib..
But I've heard opinions on both yes vs. no on the bumpers and I am not sure what I would do if given the option.. Probably not, just because they are not a huge deal and you can sign me up for any and all ways to reduce the risk of sids..
sorry for the long response.. I guess i'm in talkative mode..
We kept DS's on until he was older than 1. I don't remember why we took it off, I just know that it prevented a lot of head-hitting. When they're itty-bitty and can't roll, they are nothing to worry about IMO.
Just an FYI: the main SIDS risk of bumpers has NOTHING to do with the baby's ability to move. This is apparently a common misconception.
No, I will not be using them. Every doctor/book/article says they are a safety hazard (for different reasons depending on age) so it is so not worth it to me.
Might save them to use as something else though....not sure yet...

I've seen people make a play blanket out of crib bumpers.
I'm using mine as a pseudo bedskirt/ruffle bc I didn't get one with my set. So I tied it around the bottom of the crib under the mattress. It looks pretty nice.
