High-Risk Pregnancy

Today marks 1 month of bedrest for me!

I can't believe I made it a month even through it seems like forever ago I started this journey of bedrest/ptl. Right now I'm still in the taking it week by week. I just wish they would say yes you'll be on bedrest until 36wks or give me something to go on. I guess we'll see what the perinatal doc says today.

  • I think it's completely reasonable to ask your peri when he/she expects to lift your bed rest restrictions. ?GL at your appointment today!

  • Congrats on making it through the 1st month! I agree with the pp. I would ask what they're thinking as far as bed rest and how long. It would make me feel better knowing up front how long they're expecting me to be on bed rest, rather than each week or two getting disapointed by them saying more bed rest. Hope that makes sense!

    Good luck at your appt!

Congrats on making it 1 month. ?I will hit my 1 month mark on Monday! ?I have been told I will not be removed from bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy :-(. ?At my last appointment my Dr did say I could sit up more and get things from the kitchen if I am stir crazy. ?

  • They don't stop labor after 34 weeks typically, atleast that's around when I get my cerclage out so u may be able to do more around that time.  Enjoy it while u can.  My modified bedrest was so peacful w/ my 1st (off work at 24 wks. w/ cerclage) and this time I've been off since 19 weeks, & it's so much harder with a toddler to take care of.  I'm exhausted & need more rest!
