9:15 p.m. - water broke
10 p.m. - doctor called back, said take your time but get to the hospital, so I showered, dried my hair, put on makeup, packed up our bags
11:30 p.m. - got to hospital, tested water, it was def broken

12 a.m. - got to my room, started me on cervadil
4 a.m. - cervadil came out, i was 1 cm, gave me morphine, contractions are painful
6 a.m. - still in lots of pain, more morphine, morphine did nothing
8 a.m. - 2 cm, almost 3 cm, so started receiving the Epi and had one tiny, tiny does of Pitocin (ended up not need it so they stopped after like a drip)
8:15 a.m. - pain free
10 a.m. - dilated to almost 6 cm
11 a.m. - dilated to 8 cm
12 p.m. - dilated to 9 cm
12:45 p.m. - intense urge to push, called OB, got ready, started pushing at 1 p.m.
1:31 p.m. - baby Davis makes his debut
It was amazing, painless and perfect. I loved every moment, they put him on my chest, I cried. My placenta fell out in seconds after delivering. I do have a 2nd degree tear which the doctor stiched up in about 10 minutes, that wasn't so bad. It was so easy though, pushing was nothing, I made no noise whatsoever, never whined or anything. It went so well.

I want a birth like yours!!! yay! Congrats! can't wait to see pics of Davis
Congrats!
Just curious, what was the rational they gave you for starting cervadil so quickly? Most places give you 24 hrs after your water breaks, so it seems odd they jumped to interventions right away.
