Breast pump recommendations?

I'm looking for one that has the double pump and not manual.  I've read Medala and I think Lansinoh are good.  Any feedback on these or others?

Re: Breast pump recommendations?

  • I got the lansinoh double electric. It was way cheaper than the medela and it works great.

  • I have the playtex double electric pump and I LOVE IT! The only think I dont like is that its kinda loud... but other then that so worth it. Im also getting the had pump so I can pump at work.
  • I have the Medela Freestyle. It is the only one I have ever had so I can't compare it but I love that it is hands free and I can do other things while pumping. It is a big time saver! I got it significantly cheaper than BRU by going to Medela's website and searching for a local dealer. I ordered mine from www.addalittlelove.com and saved around $100. The lady will also give you phone/email help with breastfeeding at no charge for purchasing a pump.

Ditto.  Got mine on Amazon for super cheap (~$120) and I love it.  I've heard nothing but great reviews about it.

Ditto the Freestyle, but I bought it at Target w/all my shower gift cards.

  • I have the Medela Pump In Style Advanced and I like it. I used a hospital-grade pump when my LO was in the special care nursery and I can't tell the difference between the two.
