What were your funny/unique conception stories??

The ladies at lunch got on a topic about if their parents told them how they were conceived, or how they would want to concieve their future babies, etc... 

I felt sad of course because I have a conception story and would have loved to share, so you guys go for it!!

We conceived bobbi on Halloween as I was dressed as axl rose and DH was dressed as slash, we did a quickie before heading out to a party!!  I can't imagine that sight!!

    That is an awesome story, lol!

    We conceived baby #1 on the couch on a Wednesday evening while Keith Olbermann was on TV... we joked that we would either name the baby Wednesday (girl), Couch (unisex), or Keith (boy). Ha! I don't know what came over us, we usually don't FWP after dinner while watching the news, lol.?

    Technically I conceived while I was in CA and my DH was in the UK. Ya, it was pretty cool. We BD on Sunday, he left for his business trip, and I O'd on Wednesday in CA.?

    I am pretty sure we concieved our little one while I was bent over on the side of a dirt road, while camping with my softball team, out of town. DH was feeling frisky. Good times. Stick out tongue

    I don't have any one

    Started TTC in August 2007, 1st BFP March 2008, natural m/c April 11th, 2008. 2nd BFP 1/1/09, diagnosed with possible ectopic 1/16/09, got Methotrexate shot 1/18/09. On Bromocriptine to balance my high prolactin levels (thanks to tiny brain tumor) that messes with my body. Long cycles and unexplained infertility suck monkey balls! July 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot TI prog. supps= negative. August 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot IUI prog. supps=negative. September 09- Clomid 50mg HCG shot b2b IUI's prog. supps: negative. October 09- Clomid 100mg HCG b2b IUI's prog.supps: negative. November 09- cycle cancelled due to cyst.... IVF is next.... December 09- Beginning of IVF, Lupron, BCP's Jan-Feb 10- IVF retrieved 6 matured eggs, all fertilized, 2 transferred, 1 lost, 3 frozen= BFP! betas: 8dp5dt (13dpo)= 176, 11dp5dt (16dpo)= 728! October 2010: Boy/Girl twins born. Now... trying to get fit!

    I don't have a funny OR unique conception story, but I just wanted to say that the stories above are great!!  Maybe we all should just try to have more fun and forget about purposefully TTC!   HA!...that's not gonna happen (the last part anyway...).

    BFP #3 - 1/11/10 - DD1 born 9/16/10 @39w4d, 8lbs 14oz & 20in.
    Heparin from BFP to 34wks.
    BFP #4 - 10/4/11 - DD2 born 6/2/12 @38w1d, 8lbs 11oz & 21in.
    Same med protocol as last time, but heparin continued until delivery.
    BFP #5 - 3/30/14, EDC 12/10/14!!
    Beta #1-76 (12dpo), Beta #2-238 (14dpo)

    DH and I conceived on the first try.  No literally, one time having sex!  We decided to TTC, and the next day I freaked out and said "I forgot to sign up for disability insurance!"  So we didn't have sex again that cycle.  We took a group of students to DC and NY, and when we got back I found out I was KU.

    PS I still haven't signed up for disability insur.

    DH and I conceived just before the hurricane hit. I live in Ohio. We had a major blackout over 4 or 5 states that lasted almost 7 days. I believe we conceived about 2 days before the blackout. The first night the power was out we got bored and went to bed early. We had a tap light and an ipod. How appropriate. Ha. Anyway, after that we joked about the "baby boom" that was going to happen in 9 months since so many people were without power for DAYS! I feel stupid saying it, but part of me was relieved that I wouldn't have to be a part of that madness. And part of me was (obviously) devastated.
    Oct 2008 m/c #1 5 weeks, May 2009 m/c #2 4w5d. BFP 6/23/09 EDD 3/8/10!
