1. I'm gettting SUPER excited about meeting my baby girl! I had an appt on Wednesday and measuring right on time and will have another growth u/s at my next appt in two weeks (really less) on March 30. Then I go every week after that since I'm being induced early.
2. Weekend plans? I plan to plant some flowers at least in the flower pots in the front and wash some of Taylor's clothes and clean the house. I might throw in a movie somewhere in there.
Sounds fun, huh?
1) I scheduled my maternity photos for April 16! Hopefully I won't be too gigantic by then. I'm super excited about it. On Monday I have a doc appointment and then I go in to fill out my pre-admission paperwork. AH!
2) Landscaping in the backyard. Should be loads of fun.
1. I had my ultrasound this week which was a huge relief because we found out my placenta isn't in as bad of shape as originally thought. Baby is growing a little behind but nothing of concern. I'll have another u/s in 3 weeks to check on growth again.
2. This weekend I'll be watching March Madness and probably going to see that new movie Knowing. It looks so good!
1. Any updates or anything to share about your pg?
We went over to the inlaws for dinner last night, and MIL had a hidden agenda. She had two huge totes full of baby clothes. Dh's old baby clothes. Now, my MIL is from Germany, she moved to the US after meeting an american GI when she was 18... So not only were these old, totally out of date baby clothes, but they were also from Germany - handmedowns from a cousin. 1979 German baby clothes. The majority were velour, flared legs on the pants, and they apprarently had no concept of snaps on the bottoms, so the entire outfit would have to be taken off in order to change a diaper. Ugh.
2. Any weekend plans for this weekend?
Going swimming with dh, and my brothers! We are going to go to an indoor waterpark, and even though I can't go on the slides, I am really excited to float on a tube down the lazy river. Although I think getting in and out of the tube might get interesting! And me in my bikini is going to be quite the sight! But I don't want to buy a new suit to wear once.
That is hilarious!!!! I probably wouldn't have been able to hide my laughter at the clothing!
And I probably would have had a strange look on my face! So sorry Summerstarr!
LOL! We expect pictures of your little boy in them!
1. Did another 24 hr urine and it came back slightly elevated. I have to repeat labs next week again to make sure everything is ok.
2. My 2nd and final baby shower is tommorow. I am so excited!!!
Oh she expects me to!!! And she lives less than 10 minutes away!!! As we were looking through everything, she kept talking about how cute everything was and how adorable dh was in the clothes.
I went through and picked out the least terrible ones and brought them home, I thought maybe some of them could be used if I ever have a girl... But I am really thinking they will just get washed and then put in the closet, never to be taken out again.
She wanted to keep everything I didn't take, so she had spare clothes at her house.
I sure hope not! But, considering she wanted to keep some for spare change of clothes in case Levi ever needed one, I am a little worried...1. No new updates... just excited to be getting closer to meeting our little girl!
2. We're having dinner and a movie with my parents tonight and then tomorrow we're going shopping for an outfit for my baby shower that's next weekend and we have a concert to go to on saturday night... fun!
1. NOt much is new other than I'm having a lot of contractions tonight and kind of freaking out. I am convincing myself that it will be ok and I'm not in labor. I'm also chugging water and laying on my side. I'm not liking the heparin shots. This morning I stabbed myself in the finger on accident while giving myself the shot and ended up with a huge welt and bruise on my knuckle. I seem to get a lot more bruises and lumps from the heparin vs. the lovenox.
2. My mom is coming over tomorrow to help me clean a little bit. Other than that nothing that is planned. I was hoping that we could go to a movie, but if the contractions keep up that's out of the question. Boo.
