Cribs and Nursery Furniture

Can anyone recommend places for reasonable baby furniture other than Babies R Us or Bergstrom's in Orange County? We'd even drive to IE if there's a large store out there with a good selection. We hit up Bergstrom's this weekend and I don't know if we picked a bad day or what but we left feeling disappointed. Any rec's would be awesome!

    I thought Bergstroms had a good selection. Did you go to the Anaheim one? That's the only one I've been too. There's USA Baby but they have less of a selection that Bergstroms. Sorry that didn't help at all.

    No, we went to the Irvine one. We want a black crib and that seems to be the problem with the selection we saw at Bergstroms. Thanks though!

    Did you ask the sales people about black cribs? ?I noticed that a lot of the nursery furniture came in a bunch of different finishes. ?I liked the selection there, but I thought Bergstroms was super over priced so we'll probably get our furniture elsewhere.

    We shopped the local stores but ended up buying online at csnbaby.com
    Their prices were competitive to the shops we visited and offer free shipping.  They do have a wide selection of brands and finishes.  If there was a style you liked at one of the furniture stores, maybe order online?

    We bought at Bergstrom's when they had one of their sales.  We were driving by and saw everything outside in the parking lot....and we got an incredible deal.

    However, if you are looking for something specific that is probably not the best way to go.  Pottery Barn has a big outlet in Lake Elsinore that has lots of baby furniture, maybe try there?

    None of the stores carried what I wanted. ?I shopped in store to get a feel for the various brands and to "kick the tires." ?Then shopped online to see the full spectrum of finishes and dresser options. ?Then I ordered the exact pieces and finishes I wanted from USA Baby (who ended up giving me the best deal when played against their competitors).

    I HIGHLY recommend Overstock.com. If you purchase today, shipping is $1! Any other time it's like $3 for anything! They had great prices!
