Boston Babies

Andover area Dr.

HI there, I posted this on thenest boston by accident, I finally found the right place, not that they weren't nice over there. :) Anyway, I just found out I'm pregnant and I don't currently like my Obgyn and was wondering if anyone knows of someone else good in the area.

 Thanks!

Re: Andover area Dr.

  • I live in Bradford and went to Essex County OB/GYN and saw the midwives. They have offices in Danvers, Beverly and Georgetown (where I went) and I delivered at Beverly Hospital. It's a bit of a drive but I had an amazing birth experience and would not consider going anywhere else. I love love loved all the midwives. HTH.

  • I went to Andover OB/Gyn with my first baby and absolutely loved them all.  I had a great experience at Lawrence General too.  Much better than my 2nd at a different hospital.
  • I go to Dr. Grossman in N. Andover on Turnpike St. ?He is overly cautious which is really nice. ?Had an amazing experience at Holy Family and single patient rooms rock
  • I go to Dr. Lirette on Turnpike St. in North Andover, and I love him.  I started out at Andover ObGyn, and was not happy there.  I am so glad I switched!
  • I live in Andover and had heard great things about Dr. Lirette, but didn't want to deliver at either Lawrence General or Holy Family, where most of the doctors around here have privileges. Instead, I went for Dr. Jackson at Dowd ObGyn in Reading (right across from the train station) and delivered at Winchester. I had a GREAT experience with both my doc and the hospital...
