Cool Mist Humidifier?

Does anyone have one of these that actually works?

We have the vicks one and I don't feel that it makes a difference in Nadia's room. It also leaves a puddle on the floor and a film on all the furniture...

Any recomendations?

    I was also disappointed in a Vicks humidifier, so I scrapped it and bought one that looks like a cow from Target.  I think it's made by Crane?  They have a bunch of different kinds made to look like animals.  Works great and doesn't need a filter.

    I also have the penguin from Crane and have no complaints!! It is super easy to set up and clean, and I haven't experienced any leaking at all (even though I still put a towel underneath).

    I'm on my 2nd Vicks humidifier. That's only because the first one I broke it when I hit it and it fell on the floor. I've never had issues with it leaking though. You might want to see if yours is under warranty because it shouldn't be doing that. I keep a towel underneath ours just in case, but never had leaking issues. Also, is her room on the small side? If so which setting are you putting it on? Mikey has a small room with wood floors so at night I make sure to put the setting on low, and that's more than enough since I keep his door shut. No issues with film being left on his furniture or anything. If I have it set too high then yeah I'll have that happen.

    Sam- it's the one for small rooms- so it doesn't have more than one setting I don't think...

    mine is also a vicks - its small - only has 1 setting

    never had any problems with leaking but it does leave dust film on furniture.

    i only use it when she's stuffy i dont use it every day

    Weird! I'd seriously call the manufacturer up since its not that old and it really shouldn't be doing that. Those things aren't cheap! Every dollar spent is worth fighting for Big Smile

    I have the Vicks one too.  It's very small it has 3 settings and a light and I can add the vicks vapor tabs in it.  I only use it when Alexis is stuffy.  I think it was like $20 at Walgreens.
