I was just curious if anyone here has had any positive experiences with Reglan. I am having major supply issues. I EP because of latch issues and I go anywhere from 1/2 oz to 2 oz (total) each time I pump, which isn't nearly enough to feed DS, so I he gets mostly formula. I spoke to my LC yesterday and I am going to see my OB on Monday. She wants him to prescribe me Reglan. I am already taking Fenugreek 3 capsules 3 times a day and I pump every 2-3 hours. I am so close to giving up and I'm so discouraged. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks!!
Re: Any experience with Reglan?
ditto. your baby's stomach is only big enough to hold about 2oz so your supply sounds perfect to me.

Currently he is eating about every 2 hours and he eats at least 3 oz at each feeding. I feel like that is a lot, but he is still hungry after 2 oz. Not pumping enough for him to eat makes me feel like such a failure.
So I guess I am getting worked up for nothing?!I totally understand feeling discouraged but I promise it will increase. Sadly I wasn't quite pump-crazy enough at first at my supply has maxed out at about 24oz (and I really need 30 a day for him, so he gets 1oz of formula per bottle) but at 2 weeks, I was lucky to get an oz on each side at a time and I was pumping for 30 minutes 8-9ish times a day.
Just keep with it, and you will get up there soon.
Yes, I took Reglan with my second after low to NO supply with my first in hopes that it would help. It didn't, and Reglan has a high likelihood to cause PPD which did happen for me. Have you heard of Domperidone? This is what I am using now for my third (and final!) baby. t's used by adoptive mothers to induce lactation and keep up supply. It's working for me and I have tried EVERYTHING! My baby is 6 weeks old and drinks 4 oz every 3-4 hours and I still have to supplement sometimes, but at least her diet is majority breast milk. I'm thrilled with that. Do a search and get info on it. You have to order it through Canadian websites because it's not approved by the FDA here for ridiculous reasons. If you look it up you'll see what I mean. Let me know if I can help in any way.
