I thought I would start a variation of GTKYF, I propose that everyone posts a picture of something... Yourselves, your DC, a favorite vacation spot, your nursery, a project you are proud of, whatever! (And yes I am doing this so I have an excuse to show off my newly updated kitchen that I did all by myself!) But I also thought it would be a fun way to show what's going on in our lives.
my pictures: I painted all the cabinets white (and painted the walls & trim) and added these cabinets and countertop, we have one more shelf to put up (which explains the hole)
And my assistant:
Re: GKTYF- pictures
These are from before we moved into our house. We had all the popcorn removed from the ceilings.

This is one of my favorite wedding pics. It was during the sermonette which was right before my dad gave me away. I loved that not only did he have my hand but he also had his around around DH.
I knit and crochet. I have a favorite baby sweater that's been in my "inventory" for a while, and I've decided it's for the little girl we adopt (watch it be a boy--LOL)
How do I PIP? *banging head on desk*
I paste the url into tinyurl.com, tell it to open my new tinyurl in a new window, and copy and paste into my reply box.

Lake Tahoe 2008 and we are headed back May 2009 for our anniversary. Our cabin was right on the lake with a private beach. For me it is the most relaxing place - it feels like all the stress in the world just melts away and you forget about 'real life' while you are there. We like going in May because the prices are half, there are not many tourists, the weather is in the 70s, sunny and you can still see snow on the mountains that surround the lake. I CAN NOT wait until May - then after we get back we are going 'active' with our agency.
Hike up Slaughter House Cannon (word to the wise, anything with "slaughter" and "cannon" should be avoided)
Click on the little tree picture at the top of the message box & paste your URL... Although I just tried with your URLs above and got red X's. I use my URL from shutterfly (click on the picture and copy the link from the properties.)
I love it! You are so talented. Do you crochet as a business too?
My Girl Mattie
Great idea! My babies are growing up so fast:
Here's from August 2008 when my DD first came home:
And here's a recent one from the other day:
TTC- Love your kitchen. I've been wanting a redone kitchen all week!! I think the best I can hope for it repainting the cabinets before a baby comes
Dr. L - I want that sweater for myself!! How cute is that!
Jersey Girl- Lake Tahoe <sigh>. It's so beautiful!! I use to live within three hours of Tahoe...I miss it!
Struggling w/the pop-up blocker on my computer so I'll try w/one pic first.
Sunset in Sedona this past August.
Oh how beautiful! I bet it was breath-taking to see in person.
Here's a pic of my newest addition to my family...
CHIP!
I would love to move to the area or retire there some day! I have travelled a lot and it is the only place that just takes the weight right off my shoulders. We stay in Incline Village, but this year we are going to visit some of the rental companies to see about renting a house next year (which means we probably wont be right on the water like we are now with the resort but it would be much cheaper).
Two of my favorite wedding day memories...
A kiss from one of my sweet flower girls beforehand (I was a live in nanny for her family for several years).
And my first dance with my husband -- I think he was singing to me (very off key) and I love how happy I look. Happy memories!
Chip is freaking cute!
Pictures! ?What a great idea. ?We should do this every week.

Here's the pic I took for Reagan's first bday invite
FUN!!!
Some of my dearest girlfriends and I all got married within a year of one another. So we all decided to throw on our wedding dresses, hire a photographer, hire a drunk bus and stop around Seattle trashing the dress a little bit. It sure was a BLAST!!! Here is a few shots we got!
Catching fish at the famous Seattle market.
Kissing some fish. I am the one with long brown hair and the gold dress.
Jas Girl - FABULOUS idea and great pics.
Dr. Loretta, as others have mentioned, that sweater is amazing.
Great to see all these!
Not yet (wishful thinking). I keep thinking I'll build up enough inventory to start an Etsy store, I just don't have the time. For now I make a lot of things for friends and family, and have started making things for me. You should see my stuffed elephant
I keep joking to my boss that the day I hand in my resignation letter is the day I have enough stuff to start selling!
Waaaahhhh! How do I post a picture if it's just a jpeg and not a url?
TIA
