My cousin and sister in law are the main people with some help from the families. They are doing one big shower for me with both mine and my husbands side of the families attending. I work at a banquet center in the area so we are using a room there because the shower will be rather big.

I know my husband's Aunt is throwing one for his whole side of the family at her house. And I think my sisters will probably throw one for me for our side of the family as well ... don't know where or when yet though.

My mom's circle of best friends are throwing me one, it will be in Michigan, 6 hours away from my home. DH's family is probably having one as well, but they're not as far away!

I moved to CA from MI about 5 years ago... so I'm actually have 3 showers.

Shower #1: hosted by my bridesmaids in MI @ one of their houses

Shower #2: hosted by my mom at a local restaurant in MI

Shower #3: hosted by a friend of mine at her house (in CA)

My MOH told me she would like to have a baby shower for me. That one will just be for girlfriends and at her house (after the baby is born). I'm also having another one put on by family for family and family friends. Not sure where yet as it's still a long way away!!

My sisters and mom are having one for me in a church rec. room. People I work with are having one for me here at work as well.

My mom is having one at our neighbors church real close to my house, and I'm having a smaller one with my stepmom and her family that I'm hosting (I think since it was my choice to have two lol) and I might have it at their house or maybe like a Metropark shelter house? I haven't quite decided that part yet. I'm just waiting for my big u/s in a week and a half so I can find out what I'm having and can finish my registry!

All of my aunts and g-mom are organizing it and it will be at my one aunts house. My family lives about 300 miles from me so it will be there. Not sure if my dh's family is going to have one for me here.

My sister and best friend of 22yrs are hosting mine, but I haven't the slightest as to when or where (they want to suprise me...I hate it! LOL)

I threw my sisters at her house. I just thought it was easier. Then she wouldn't have to haul all of the stuff. I would like to have it at my house but since I am only having one big one, I don't think my house will be big enough.

Two of my mom's friends offered to throw me a shower. One of them has a big, beautiful, old victorian home with beautiful gardens and pond. It will be there. They threw me a bridal shower also and it was very nice.

My Aunt is having one at her home. It is in Louisiana where most of our family lives.

My friends will likely do a "virtual shower" for us. Just send out little invites to "shower us" with gifts in anticipation of the baby...we have done this for several other friends who had most of their close friends and family out of state and it worked well. It helps to let everyone know that someone has a baby on the way and that while we can't have a shower, we want to do something to acknowledge the upcoming addition.

One of my bffs along with my mom and MIL. It's going to be at a restaurant. I would've been ok with it being at someone's house, but we have too many people.
