Has anyone delivered at or plan to deliver at North Memorial in Robbinsdale? That's where I'm planning on going but I haven't heard of anyone else delivering there and was curious about how it went.
That's where I am planning to go, I will have my first u/s there friday as well. I am going through Camden Physicians and that is where they deliver. I have not heard from anyone who has delivered there yet.
Hi I delivered both of my boys there- 2005 & 2007. I worked there for 6 years as a RN- not L&D but other areas. I absoulutely love my doctors and wouldn't go anywhere else because of them. Both deliveries I had great-experienced nurses-and anesthesiologists (love the epidural)! Delivery rooms are large and nice. After you have the baby you transfer to the post partum unit-that could use some updating if they haven't since I was last there. Also I have heard wonderful things about the neonatal intensive care unit. Hopefully no one will have to experience that but it is nice to know it is there if needed. hopefully that helps a little even though it is only one person's experience-however x2. You can contact the L&D, or family advocate and ask for a tour.
I had my U/S there last Friday and loved it. It was at the outpatient clinic but the technician was great. She explained everything to us and really took her time so that we would get some great pictures. Good luck!!
I had my son there in 2008 and had a great experience. I definitely plan on using them again with future children. We also did our childbirth classes through the hospital and were happy with those. You should be able to find a catalogue on their website. All the nurses and staff were super.
Like a PP, I had a really good experience with the epidural and the anethesiologist.
I'm delivering there in August. We are taking our birthing classes through them as well. We are going to North Clinic in the West Healthy bldg in Plymouth and I love them, too. Overall it's been a great experience so far!
Our next step is getting a tour of the birthing center - I'm really excited for that!
I didn't deliver there but I've used the outpatient LC and everyone was wonderful and very helpful!

We were there in Jan 2006 and this Jan 2009 and had great experiences both times. My OB clinic delivers there and I love them, so that is how I chose it. The nursing staff was great both times, the rooms are newer and comfortable.
I just wanted to give an update ... we had our hospital tour there last night. It was such a great experience. I'm really looking forward to delivering there now. Everything was very clean and organized and the staff was great.
We opted out of the birthing classes since they are not covered by our insurance, but I've talked to my Doctor quite a bit and still feel confident that everything will go smoothly.
I can't believe I only have less than 2 months to go now!!
