Parenting after a Loss

holy moly I think I solved naps!!

Normally I put DD down in her crib and she wakes up crying 30 minutes later on the dot.

For her afternoon nap the past two days, I've run in and gotten her, stuck the paci back in her mouth and brought her into bed with me (yes I've been napping at that time too!) Both days she's napped for TWO HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! This is a world record for us. And it's forcing me to get some much needed rest myself. It has been seriously heavenly.?All I can say is?HALLELUJAH!!

  • I'm right there with you.  K just took a nap on my bed.  It's either there, the car seat, or the stroller.  Glad you got some rest.

  • Yay!!!  Emma naps much better with me too.  Today she took a 2 hour nap this afternoon in her bouncy seat.  I think Grampy wore her out when I got my massage.  I wish she would do that every afternoon.
  • I think I can get used to this co-napping thing!! I am seriously in love with naps at the moment.
  • thats great!  enjoy the rest :)
  • That is great.. and I'm sure you can use the naps now.. The only problem is when you want to get something done around the house..

  • What a nice little bonding time for the two of you, too:)  It's a win, win, win situation (the 3rd win is for Baby Bahama!)
  • Avery has totally rejected co-sleeping - its so sad :(

I'm glad you got some naps in!

  • Yep when we all sleep together in my bed I get super long naps out of them.
