Where are the Jersey Girls???

Since Jersey has been mentioned so much on here lately...I'd like to call out the Jersey Girls!

Now, we all know NJ is really 3 different states: North, Central, and South. I'm curious how many girls we have from each part.

 Please state:

which county you live in

which section YOU feel you live in (as everyone part has different lines)

which beach you go to (the best part of NJ)

I'm from Burlington County and we consider ourselves South Jersey...at home in the Pine Barrens! I go to Ocean City!

Re: Where are the Jersey Girls???

  • Hey there!  I'm in Gloucester county, which I definitely consider SOUTH Jersey.  I grew up in Monmouth county (Central).  And we usually go to Seaside since my inlaws live right around there.  :)

  • Morris County - north jersey of course :)

we went to Wildwood Crest last year- it was our first family trip to the shore... before that when i was single and went all the time it was usually to Bradley Beach/Avon area.  When we were kids my family too us to Manasquan and LBI (beach haven).

Why are you not all on the NJ Nest board? it's an awesome board- great for local resources (not the bump board- the nest one).

  • I'm stuck in AZ..... I cant wait to get back to Jersey though...

I happily sport a Jersey Girl bumper sticker on my car, and my fiance KNOWS that I'm going back.... With or without him! lol (He's from Cali).

I'm taking my mom with me though... She wants to go back too... =P

  • Camden County

From the "best" part - duh.

We have a house in Ventnor and I grew up going to Brigantin, so we frequent AC, Ventnor, Margate, Ocean City, Cape May etc. (the real jersey shore)

  • just an FYI - those of us in N. NJ consider anything about south of the Brunswick area to really be just more of PA :)  heheh.

that's okay because we consider anything north of princeton to be NY.

  • I live in Nashville, TN now, but I had to join in the NJ post!  I grew up in Monmouth County (central Jersey--exit 109!) & we went to the beach in Sea Bright.
  • I am in Westampton, NJ, which is considered South Jersey.  We go to Seaside because it's close.  But I actually like Ocean City and Wildwood better  ;-)
  • I am only 2nd tri but I cam eover to see what was happening and found this post.?
I am from Lavallette, lived 6 houses from the beach and now I live in Point Pleasant about a mile from the beach. I still go to Lavallette and sometimes Bay Head. I consider it Central Jersey
  • Live in Gloucester County now but grew up in Ocean City so that's my beach in the summer - 5 minutes from my parents' house so can use the shower.
