Faint line not getting darker?

in 1st Trimester

I posted yesterday about a very faint line on a dollar store test after 20-30 minutes... well I took a digital today and it's positve too. My concern is that I took another dollar store test today and it's just as faint as it has been the past two days... Does anyone know if the line should be getting darker? It's very faint three days in a row now. Just wondering if someone else had a similar experience.

    Yep, I used Dollar Tree tests and mine did not get as dark as quickly as I'd expected.

    I also used a digital to confirm, but yep, definitely had the same experience as you.

    So far so good...

    Congrats on your BFP! I took 5 tests...YES, FIVE. All of them were very faint.

    mine didnt get considerably darker until about 4-5 days after the first BFP...

    The tests aren't quantitative so you can't really tell if you have more HcG based on the darkness of the dye but maybe try a different brand?  I don't think the dollar tree tests have very much dye in them -- mine were all very light.

    This happened with me too. The line didn't get darker but the digital said pregnant.

    My second test later in the day was darker than the first. Then I got a digital and sure enough, pregnant! :) GL!

    Congrats, you are pregnant.  It doesn't matter how faint the lines are.  If they are there, then you're pregnant!

    I could have typed this post myself!  I also used a dollar store test, took a test with a BFP yesterday, but it was only barely darker this morning and I was wondering.  So I'm glad you asked and I'm having the same thing!

    That is exactly what happened to me.  Digital yes- no real line with another.  Just went to doc and its confirmed- I am knocked up.

    I took dollar store tests too and had the same very faint line.  I also tried other brand tests too thinking that would help, but all five can back with a very faint line.  I ended up miscarrying with that pregnancy about a week after my BFP.  It was called a chemical pregnancy, where it doesn't fully attach itself and makes sence that I never ended up getting a darker line.  I'm now 7 weeks pregnant again, just one month after my miscarriage.   Hopefully things go better for you!  Congrats by the way!
