"Scheduling" birth - yikes, time flies!

My OB told me to let her know when I would like to schedule my c-section.  She recommended between Wk 37- 38, which is 5-6 weeks away.  I hope the boys will wait that long, but it's fun to be optimistic and pick a day!

If you guys had your choice, would you pick a Friday or other day? 

Wow, it's coming so soon!

    So exciting!  My doc wanted to schedule me for a Friday and I chose to wait until Monday.  I have a strange fear of not liking my nurse and with staffing levels being lower on weekends usually I thought it'd be harder to get a new nurse.  I'm a weirdo.

    Now that her suggested Friday is tomorrow and I'm now waiting until Monday I'm not sure that was the best decision :)  I hope your boys stay in that long also!

    Yay!  I scheduled mine for a Thursday (38w3d).  They wanted to schedule me for the day before, but that was April 15th, aka Tax Day, and I asked to go a day later because it would totally suck to have your birthday on the day everyone is rushing to finish their taxes!  The nurse thought it was pretty humorous, but I was dead serious . . . lol.

    OH wow -- I cannot believe how quickly your pg has gone by (or so it seems to me anyway, I'm sure not to you).  Congrats on scheduling your c-section!

    I have just scheduled mine for Apr 22nd which is 37 w 2 d.  I posted earlier b/c I have to get an amnio first since I won't yet be 38 weeks.  Kind of a bummer but still looking forward to meeting those guys (and making it that long).
