PLEASE DO NOT BUTT INTO THIS POLL IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CHILD WITH AUTISM!
I love you anyway
but I was curious about something.
I have a 2 year old child with ASD, and a 9 month old child as well. I know my answer to this question, but some friends and family were surprised at how I answered it.
SO...without giving ANY reason why (I am not looking to start a debate here people!) please SIMPLY answer YES or NO to the following question.
IF YOU HAVE A VACCINATED CHILD WITH ASD, AND A NEWBORN...WILL YOU/WOULD YOU VACCINATE THE NEWBORN? (on or off schedule...doens't matter. Would you vaccinate is the question?)
Thanks in advance.

Re: Poll for Moms of Children with Autism
I did, yes.
Catch 22 for me, being a nurse. I think the rise in Autism has something to do with the combining of 3 vaccine's. My pediatrician does not want to vaccinate my Autistic daughter any further. Then I have a 15 month old that is coming up on her 18 month shots. I have to admit I am worried. The baby talks well and is hitting every developmental milestone so far. My fear is that she has began walking on her tippy toes. A Lot! This in itself makes me turn my head but we will wait and see. So to answer your question" Yes I vaccinate, but I am worried.
no spin. no debate.
just curious.
i appreciate all your answers!
Our 3 year old son has autism and I am pg with our second child. We are delaying our next child's vaccinations and will be spacing them out. We will give the MMR in seperate doses at different times as well as using mercury free vaccines and definetly no more flu shots for anyone in the family!
