So this has happened a few times that the SAME woman (the cook at my daycare) has commented on my food.
Usually I turn my nose up at her food because it's really unhealthy (I can't belive she feeds that stuff to the kids either) or it's just not good- she really cannot cook. One of her meals is a frenchfry-ham-broccoli casserole mixed with mayonaise and baked. Hot mayonaise yuck.
So a few weeks ago I splurged and went to taco bell and got 1 bean burrito (I usually am a VERY healthy, organic eater but hello, I can splurge once in awhile) and she walked in, sniffed and was like, "What's that?" and i told her and she goes, "Oh, is that good for the baby?" and I commented that i needed the protein and yes it was fine.
Different day, I had a piece of chocolate and she goes, "Chocolate not good for the baby!" and i said, "Actually, studies have proven women who eat chocolate have happier babies" (true) and she smirked.
Then today- i was getting some cottage cheese to eat (with a salad for pete's sake) and she says in a grumpy voice as i put pepper on top "Your baby doesn't like pepper."
WTF???? Um, yeah i've never met it yet, but i think i know my own baby and body better than she does. I am seriously running out of things to say to this woman.
What is wrong with people? I feel like eating deep fried lard right in front of her, just to piss her off.

Next time she says something rude, call her on it. She obviously knows jack about healthy eating if she's making that kind of garbage for kids (why is she allowed to make that kind of crap?) and has no business questioning you on eating a bean burrito or a piece of chocolate.?
As for the pepper thing, I would have probably said out loud what you said here. How the hell does she know what the baby does, or doesn't, like? Stupid woman. ?

I really hate pregnancy police. I have people tell me I can't dye my hair, that I can't eat cooked fish sushi and that I can't lay outside in the sun for 30 min.
It happens. Just ignore it.
