Does anyone have a recommendation on where to get one? I also have a project to get a line outside. I think we could tether it to our house, and then a tree across the yard. I am looking for one of those pulley deals so that I can real it in and out.
Any help with either is much appreciated!!
Re: I need a drying rack for my laundry room
We just have a drying rack from Target. Works fine.
ETA: the pulley line would be saweet.
we just got a folding rack from Walmart (ICK) that we set up in front of the woodstove in the winter. It works faster than you could imagine.
i thought about the pulley kind, but those gizmos only give you one line each, so we opted to do a multi-line one instead. Also, less chance of something breaking.
Did a quick google and came across this site https://www.clotheslineshop.com
Some nifty indoor and outdoor options. Not sure how they are on prices but it can at least give you an idea of what products exist.
Here is one that loads of people hang over their bathtubs here in Europe. (If there is no laundry room). We have considered getting one for the laundry room in addition to the two we have. And here is the one I would love to relace the one we have (which is similar to the target ones) as it has 120 something feet of clothes line on it but in such a small space. We don't have a dryer.
I have a wall mounted one from Ikea that I really like- it folds down to the wall if you want it "away." I have it mounted above our washer.
We have a pully line. It stretches diagonally across our yard from fence to fence. I got the puleys, line seperators, and line at Home Depot. I got a tightener at Ace Hardware. Make sure to get a non-stretch line!! Our cotton/nylon blend one drives me insane.
We put hooks in the fence so we can take down the line easily for DH to mow without decapitating himself. He appreciates this feature.
I was really hoping that someone would chime in with a DIY way to do this. THANK YOU! I may page you for more advice later on. I really want to attempt this.
