Holy moly and the end of second tri

I had a MW appointment yesterday and it kind of freaked me out.

-She told me I was going to double in size by the time of my next appointment.

-Both the baby and I are still measuring ahead.

-I got my tasty orange drink (LOL) to take for my next appointment and my GD test.

-I was told by the receptionist that after my next appointment I would be coming in every two weeks.

Already!? Ack!

    I'm right there with you! After my appointment next Friday, I'll be going every 2 weeks - crazy!!

    And chose the awesome fruit punch flavor of the GD test to take home instead of orange - hope that wasn't a mistake!

    awww congrats!!! I'm really happy for you :)

    Good luck w/ the orange drink (I have to do it twice, did my first 2 weeks ago)...I was terrified b/c of what everyone says, but it wasn't THAT bad. (Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a walk in the park either, but not awful. I was more upset about having to drink all the artificial dyes, etc).

    I know!!  It's amazing how quickly it passes.  And nah, my dr insisted the fruit punch was actually better than the orange but I hate fruit punch.  And word to the wise - pour it over a bunch of ice and use a straw to down it quickly.  Leaves less of that cotton-mouth afterwards that way.

    Oooh I didn't have the fruit punch option. Hopefully the orange will be decent.

    I know!  How did we all get here so fast?  By the way, the glucola stuff isn't that bad - it tastes like PowerAde - really sweet & a little fizzy.  Congrats on nearing the end of 2nd tri!

    Congrats! i have a question though, does everone have to take the drink? or is it at a certain time in preg.

    I have been preg. before (m/c) and i only made it to 11 weeks, and i took the drink.

    With this one, Dr. has not mentioned it? and im 21 weeks tmrw....just wondering.....

    It seems that the timing can vary. My MW office is having me do the test at 29 weeks.
