Heartbeat at 6w5d??

Has anyone seen a heartbeat at 6 weeks 5 days? I am trying to get into my doc. early. My firs appt. is 3/31, but I've recently had two m/c so I'd like to see it as early as possible. I get conflicting reports from various internet resources, so I thought I would ask some real women!

Based on my lmp I was 7w3d but based on the u/s I was 6w3d but nevertheless, a heartbeat was there.?

When I had my first u/s I was measuring at 6wks 1day and there was a very clear heart beat. That's really about all that was clear. Me and DH joked and said we had a jellybean with a heart GL

I went in at 6w1d because of some bleeding and we were able to see a heartbeat! Everyone is different though...

I had almost the exact same situation, except I was 7w2d based on LMP. I went in for an u/s earlier that week due to bleeding, when I thought I was 6w5d, and didn't see anything (which makes sense now that I know I was more like 5 weeks).

I might suggest waiting just a little longer, maybe until next week, so you can be sure to see something.

I had some bleeding so they did an us at 6w2d. We got to see the heartbeat and the baby measured 6w2d. It was just an abdominal us too!! Good luck! If you don't see it that is not the end of the world either especially if you are not charting and are not exactly sure when you ovulated!

we saw ours at exactly 6 weeks - it was at 108 bpm.

I also have had 2 previous m/c so they had me in early for an u/s. At 6w 4d they measured me at 5w 5d. We saw a tiny spot & a tiny flicker so hopefully you'll get to see it. Good luck to you!

Saw a heartbeat at 6 weeks 1 day. Baby measured 5 weeks 6 days. It was low though, 80bpm.

I saw a heartbeat and heard it at 6w1d. The heart rate was slow at around 98 bpm but they said it was really early and it should improve by my 8 week U/S.
