wow! I'm so inspired by all of your stories today - what an amazing, strong group of women...( I already knew the amazing part...:)
my Reader's Digest version ...
DH & i actually met in a bar one night while I was on a really bad date with another guy! He came up and chatted with me while my date was in the bathroom ! We were engaged at Thanksgiving the following November and were married on 8-6-06
DH finally agreed to start talking about TTC in Oct. 07, we started in Jan 08 and in July I got my BFP! I was so thrilled ! When I tested that cycle at 28 days it was a BFN, but a week later , when AF didn't show, I tested again and woo hoo !
I was so thrilled to be PG last summer, being a 2nd grade teacher I had it al timed out perfectly - my EDD was 3/30/09 ...Then at 6 weeks, I went in for an ultrasound and they couldn't find a HB , so my OB wanted me to come back a week later for another ultrasound ( what a long week that was) but the next week, things weren't any better - still no HB -
that was on Monday, and I took the pills ,( pms cramps x 10 ) but by Friday I still had tissue left so I had to get a D & C late that night
to make matters worse, DH was in Africa on a business trip - he had left the day before as I thought I would just bleed it out - and school started that following Monday - with a baby shower for a co worker (of course)
that has been tough - 4 teachers are now PG ! I try each day to look at their bellies as a sign of hope, but some days are harder than others -
an HSG, sonohystogram, hysterscopy, 2 IUI's , 2nd round of Clomid, here I am still ..hoping that this cycle will be my lucky one...:)
.I don't know what I would do without this board!
I've loved reading everyone's stories...
Re: jumping on the sharing bandwagon
wow! good memory ! yes - he's a twin or as he puts it "twins rock"
we're hoping for twins too with the clomid....:)
Hey there Emma! Thanks for sharing your story - I am so inspired by you and all the other ladies. I know we have both been around for about the same length of time and I am really hoping to see our BFP's soon
Emma-
I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that. Thanks for sharing and I truly hope you get your sticky BFP soon. Isn't it funny that most people who work in schools try to strategically plan their pregnancies? I definitely planned with Noah, but now I'll take whatever I can get!
