Anyone doing yellow?

We're having a girl and DH picked out a sunny yellow paint to go with the PBK Alphabet Soup Bedding we have.  I'm looking for inspiration pictures, but seem to be coming up short...guess yellow is out of style?

Re: Anyone doing yellow?

  • I did yellow and pink, the room isn't done but you can see the latest pics in my blog - link in siggie, paint is done

  • I am doing yellow too!  I do not have any pix yet but we did sunny yellow walls, white trim, cherry floor, cherry furniture.  We have Wendy Bellissimo Starlight Bedding and have prints from the childrens book "The Little Prince" framed in cherry on the wall.  It lookds really cute fo far, at first I was not loving the suniness of the yellow, but now that the room is starting to come together I am loving it, it looks like sunshine, and is a great offset to the cherry furniture.  I'll post pix when I get some.

I agree that yellow does not seem to be a popular color, and I'm not sure why.  Honestly, us ladies who want a gender neutral nursery dio not have a whole lot of choices to pick from.

We have a yellow nursery - here is an earlier photo before we started really getting it set up.  I love it!  So bright and cheery!

  • I used PBK Alphabet soup & I painted yellow (Behr Butter)?

I think there is one pic in my bio nut you can barely see the wall?
