Have they confirmed that she actually passed away? Fox News said earlier that her family was close to taking her off life support, but I wasn't sure how soon it would happen. How horrible! That whole thing makes me sooo sad.

She played the mom in the Parent Trap with Lindsay Lohan. I really liked her as an actress. I read earlier that they had gone ahead and taken her off life support, but that was the only new detail. Sad though.

she came out in the movie Maid in Manhattan, she played the biitchy wealthy woman in the park suite (Jlo stole her identity, lol). ?i'm a dork, i LOVE that movie!

She was not in 'Love Actually', it was her husband - Liam Neeson. Ironically his character in the movie suffers a similar loss - losing his wife and left with a young son....I cannot imagine what the family must be going through. Would not wish it on my worst enemy

She was one of the mothers at the school I taught at in Manhattan--I bet that her boys are really upset. Her mom is Vanessa Redgrave, I think. So sad. I'm never going skiing!!
