If you bottle feed full time, that is. We have two 4 oz and three 9oz. We just bought two more 9 oz, but I read that she should be getting used to sippy cups soon. So, should I return them? They were 20.00, and while that's not too much, I can certainly find other things to buy for her with it..like sippy cups maybe. What do you think? Thanks.

Re: How many bottles do you have?
I had way too many bottles. We had 22 drop-ins, 1 Avent Tempo, and 1 Gerber bottle.
We probably have at least 15 sippy cups too.
I have about 15 evenflo that I can use regularly and then another 10 mixed bottles that were my super super back up (not her favorites but they did the trick).
Well, I found that the more I have the lazier I get at washing them so I am limiting my daily rotation to the 4 bottles she drinks every day so that I wash every day.
Also, only buy one type of sippy at a time. DD was not picky w bottles but she has been w sippies so I have had to try different ones. Funny thing, those cheap basic ones worked the best!
eight 4 oz. and eight 9 oz.
We started off with 6 of each, and then I went and bought more. In the beginning since they eat so often, we were sometimes washing bottles twice a day! I think 8 or 9 is a good number if you only use bottles.
oops...I guess I never answered your question.
I would keep what you have. You can never tell how long it is going to take them to get used to a sippy cup.
4 10-oz bottles. I fill them each day plus a 4-oz container to mix w/ oatmeal etc. 5 months old seems early to switch to sippy cups full time but I could def be wrong!
zero 4 oz
eight 9 oz (2 of which stat at my mom's)
One avent tempo
2 sippy cups, and one straw cup
I have 14 drop ins (4 oz, but they actually are closer to 5 oz) and 6 8 oz drop ins.
I bought a starter pack, but then several friends gave me their bottles
