Why I LOVE my DH....

So, I started using the OPK test strips the day after my period ended and haven't had any peaks yet as of yesterday. Well, my DH works nights sometimes and I kept telling him that he better hope it doesn't peak while he is gone because I would be having to drag his butt home from work so we could BD. This morning he got home as I was finishing getting ready for work and I went ahead and did my new pee in a cup morning ritual and for some reason the urine was not moving along the strip. I was slightly confused, so I decided I would start over, pee in the cup yet again and retest. Well, thank goodness I did because within minutes the test line was far, far darker than the control line and I about freaked out. My 2 y/o was in the other room watching tv waiting on me so that we could leave and I could go drop him off at my mom's before heading to work. I told my DH that it had peaked and he was on it, lol! He was like, well, we just have to have a quickie then, hahaha! I was seriously laughing-my-ass off because it was just so awkward and unexpected and at first, I was hesitant because I was already running late for work and all, but he was just too convincing. He said - "We have to do it! It's what we have to do." (so funny....maybe not now that I am retelling the story, but seriously I was in physical pain from laughing so hard) Mind you, this is the man that was not ready to TTC again yet when we got our last BFP and has seemed somewhat distant, hesitant and possibly just worried about TTC again mostly because I think he is just worried about me emotionally and whether or not I can handle it if things don't go well. In any case, my DH turned on a movie for my son in the living room and we snuck off to the bedroom and had our quick little BD!! For some reason, it seemed totally awkward at first, but we both started laughing about it so hard that it made that all go away. He's gone again tonight, so I guess tomorrow morning we will probably have a repeat, lol, but hopefully it will end with a BFP in the end! 

Just another reason why I love my wonderful hubby and think he's just the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me.

    It's great that he's so on board! haha?

    Just so you know, when you get a + OPK, it just means you will probably O within 36 hrs, not necessarily that it's happening right at that moment. But hopefully you will not need to use that info and just get a BFP in two weeks! :)?

    Hehe! Yeah, I know it says 24-48 hours on the one I have, but I won't see him tonight (and may not see him in the morning) and I even told him we could wait until tomorrow evening, but he insisted. I figure the more times we can try within the next 36-48 hours the better! Wink

    HAHA I love it that you could turn an obligatory FWP into a good time!   That's great!  I love humor in the bedroom!  Sometimes you have to laugh, it can get too serious in there. :)
