3rd Trimester

This is why I don't own a scale...

Or maybe it's a reason to go get one...

Had an appt this morning and I jumped 10lbs!!!  ::Raises right hand::  I promise to try and bring my lunch from home at least 4 times a week from now on.  Why is Taco Bell and Wendy's right down the road??!!

Oh well, on the plus side NP recommended now that it's getting nice out that I go for 30 min walks instead of just doing yoga and DH will have to go with b/c he gets worried about me walking the paved, well lit walking trail by myself, so cute

    Me too and unfortunately, I do own a scale.

  • no worries, i gained 12 from month 5 to month 6. oops. i was at first very pissed off. then i decided my baby is healthy and i could use some exercise after she comes out, so fvck it! lol

  • that is cute! don't buy a scale though- weighing yourself daily will just make you feel bad.  just try to eat better like you said and leave it to the doc to keep track =)

    i was an over acheiver in first and second tri and now according to my ob i'm back on track- if i had jumped on the scale at home i wouldn't have enjoyed myself as much.

  • I did that twice! between 24 and 28 weeks and 16 and 20 weeks.  and i wish i could say i did it eating taco bell or other yummy fast food.  i eat very healthy - just large quantities of healthy stuff.  as long as your doc isn't concerned.  mine isn't but suggested i lay off the bread products and fruit if i want to control the gain. (F-that i just ate a soft pretzel and a fruit salad for lunch).
