I had a reallity check today at the Dr.

So I walk up to the receptionist to set up my appointments and this is how the exchange goes.

R~ So it looks like you have your next 2 appointments so you should be good.

Me~ Why don't we do one more 2 weeks out.

R~ Well the next appointment we'll set up will be for a week from the last one you have set for your 36 weeks and we'll see you every week from then on.

Me~ Wait no that can't be, 2 weeks from today is 33 weeks and then 2 weeks from that is 35 and 2 weeks from that.........OMG.

I broke into a cold sweat and I think my face must have gone white. It's really happening, baby girl will be here in 9 weeks give or take. I'M NOT READY FOR THIS YET!!!!

Awwww, hehe, don't worry, you'll be fine!

I had my reality check over the weekend. We got the crib all put together and I was putting the bedding in and I just had to sit down because it had just clicked that OMG, there is going to be a little munchkin in there in a couple months, holy crap I'm not ready!

Time flies when you're preggoes, huh??? I know. I feel like I found out I was pregnant yesterday and then I found out it was a boy and now towards the end time is just going way too fast!! It's going to be ok. Good luck to you. HUGS!!

That's so funny! I actually had a tear in my eyes when I read it because I thought to myself. . .oh I can't wait until I'm that far along. .. oh crap I am about the same amount of weeks as you! For me 30 weeks just sounds so much closer than the 20's. Then if you think about it and full term is 37 weeks it makes it that much closer! It just doesn't feel real that if she came today she would probably make it and look like a real baby and everything. I know that sounds goofy but I guess I still think of her as a poppyseed.
