Vent - Up Every Hour on the Hour - FUN!!
So today is the 2nd day my DD has had a red, watery eye. I called the doc yesterday and he said to put warm compresses on it (i.e. a warm wash cloth which she just loves over her eye!) and if it doesn't go away by Thursday to bring her in. He said sometimes they have an ear infection on the same side they have an infected eye.
Last night she didn't sleep well at all - probably woke up 15 times I'd guess (but who can really remember when you're waking up constantly thru the night!?) We'd go in and pop her paci back in and she'd go back to sleep, but only for a little while.
I hate that she's not feeling well. I was hoping she'd wake up this morning and her eye would be better, but alas, it's still red. I gave her a bath and she's napping now - but I have a feeling we'll be heading to the doc tomorrow. She's had a cold for the last 2 weeks - I took her in last week and she checked her out but found nothing. If it's an ear infection, I know those can pop up quickly.
Here's hoping for a better day...

Oh, we were so there about 2 weeks ago. I wanted to gouge my eyes out I was so tired. Allie did have an ear infection and her eye was "sleepy" but it wasn't red at all. The redness would make me wonder if it's pink eye?
I hope she feels better soon so that you can all get some sleep!
