I got this bag..not designer but I decided to get this one instead of a coach only because I figured who the hell wants to worry about what I do with it...put it on the dirty floor etc...

I would go with coach - they have some really great diaper bags. Kate Spade also has some great diaper bags. If you are going practical though, I would just buy a large designer tote and not get an actual diaper bag, that way you can use it as a regular purse pretty easily later on. GL

I got the Coach heritage stipe tote (the largest of the styles). Although it is going to make for a really big purse afterward, I tried on the size down and it would have been way too small to use as a diaper bag.

Check them out online, Macy's is having free shipping on purchases of $100 or more!

Just bought the Kate Spade messenger bag also- it is hotness to the nth degree!!! I adore it. Has a gorgeous green lining and changing pad. Also very practical because you can wipe down the black fabric when it gets baby gunk all over it...

I got a brown Coach heritage stripe bag! It's large enough to be a diaper bag and double as a purse.... also the inside will be really easy to wipe out spills because of the material... LOVE IT

I don't have a named brand like PPB or Gucchi but I do have an EA (Electronic Arts *A video game company I worked for*) Mesenger Bag that has a bunch of good pockets for the things I need. I am going to make my own diaper bag by buying what I need from Skip hop and a few other on-line stores. Also I am looking forward to the Messanger bag because it does have a padded pocket for my laptop so I can go to a coffee place and surf the net as well. Geeked

i got a really nice Kate Spade - the Bleeker Street Henry in navy blue. My DH said "wait, thats a diaper bag?" - its awesome - great as a "mid size" bag. I got it at the outlet. i also have the new Vera Bradley diaper bag in the green cupcake print as my large diaper bag.
