Teagan, Teaghan, Tegan or Tegen?

Hi there! We have decided that we love the name Teagan Alexandra for a little girl (means little poet!) but are struggling with the spelling of the name. Thoughts?? I am anticipating that she might have to spell it because it is pretty unique in my area, at least. Or last name is 7 letters long and starts with an M, if that makes any difference at all.

I thought this was an Irish name? If that's the case, I'd spell it however it's traditionally spelled in Ireland (although I have no idea how that would be).

I also have heard it pronounced so that it rhymes with Vegan: "tee-gun" with the emphasis on the first syllable.

It depends on how the first part is pronounced. If it's "tee" then I like Teagan, but if it's "tay" then I like Tegan. I knew a girl in college who pronounced it "tay-gen" and spelled it Tegan.
