So I just picked up a copy of Baby Bargains last night (and it's fantastic!)... but it's put me in a bit of a pickle... I FELL IN LOVE with the Brooke bedding at Pottery Barn Kids, to the point that I can't imagine having anything else in our nursery. I was just reading through Baby Bargains and it gave PBK a rating of C+ on their bedding!
Am I a terrible mother if I use it anyway? Are any of you using Pottery Barn Bedding? Are you happy with it?
Re: Anyone a fan of Pottery Barn Kids stuff?
My bedding is PBK, I'm super happy with it...
I think Baby Bargains gave it a C because of the price...they said it's too expensive...
I was going to say this as well. Full price, it's pretty overpriced for what it is, but PB bedding IS pretty good quality. I just bought ours on sale (the navy Pique) and got the skirt, bumper, and quilt for $80! Can't beat that and it's really high quality.
we got PBK for several reasons. Simple prints. I hate bedding that screams baby. Colors..their colors always stay the same. it's so easy to find coordinating pieces since the navy is always the same color navy in every piece...the red is the same. They might change the patterns but the colors are always the same shades. Durable. My nephew is almost 4 and still in a toddler bed. He is still using his crib sheets and they look brand new. They wash so well. Buying what you need..I hate bed in a bag sets. Since you buy everything separately at PBK,. you only buy the pieces you need. I only wanted sheets, a crib skirt and a quilt to throw over the rocking chair(to use as padding on the back as well as add a splash of color to the room)
I love their bedding...now the other stuff...looks so cute but so overpriced!!!!!
I love it too but now that I know how little I use most of it, there's NO way I'd spend my $ on it. Our beautiful bumpers have seen little to no time on the cribs, our quilts have never been used and probably won't and the sheets (our Target ones are just as good) get peed, drooled and vomitted on.
crib bedding place a big part in what a bedroom look like but functionally, you need a sheet.
