I am so still intrigued by the thought of putting foil in the dryer. ?The thought?terrifies?me, in fact. ?Anyway I, of course, me being me had to google it. ?This is a funny mental picture.
COMMENTS:I have used balls of aluminum foil in my dryer, for many years. I just take a sheet of foil, and wad it up into a ball. A couple of them in the dryer does help with static cling. As the ball compacts after a few uses, I form more foil around the ball. This is not a perfect solution, but does reduce static. If I remove something from the dryer, that is snapping and popping, I keep slapping it against the washer or dryer until the static is mostly discharged. Then fold or hang the item, without getting too many pokes from static.POSTED BY DONNIE :: MICHIGAN USA :: 02/26/2009 4:00 AM?

"slapping" it up against the washer or dryer? LOL.
That is a funny mental pic. And I am not surprised it came from a Michigander. We are kinda weird up here

Hey, speak for yourself!
Although I live in Texas now, maybe that explains my extreme normalcy
Oh! A transplant??
I say weird, because the other day, it was 46 degrees, and my neighbor was outside washing his car in SHORTS and a T-SHIRT.
More Green For Less Green
yes, a sad transplant. Since you're still there, could you please do something about the job market so we can come back?
and LOL about the shorts and t-shirt. 46 degrees is BALMY don't you know? haha
I guess I shouldn't mock it before I try it

And Rach, I would love to improve the market here. It's a buyers market for housing too, it's just a matter of finding a job.
