How will you tell your DH?

I was reading through today's posts, and I just randomly started wondering how you all will let your DHs know you have a baby on the way.

I thought about getting one of those "Baby on Board" signs and putting it on the bathroom mirror or inside the fridge. Those are the first couple of places he goes when he gets home in the afternoons.

Every month I used to come up with great plans on how to tell my DH, parents, etc. Now, I think I will just show DH the stick!! I don't think I will be able to hold it in. I planned on buying onsies of his favorite sports team , father to be books, making a nice dinner .

I'm only 2 dpo and DH thinks I pregnant because I am actually happy... if only he was right!! I'm begining to feel bad for him.

I finally got the chance to tell my DH last Wednesday. There was nothing cool about it....I POAS first thing in the morning while he was still sleeping, then woke him up with the stick in my hand and whispering in his ear, "we're pregnant." He kind of smiled, but quickly said, "we won't know for sure until the beta tomorrow." That was it. Kind of anti-climactic in that moment actually.

I hope you all will have a better story to tell, and SOON!!!!!

I just called and cried. I think at this point we are passed being creative. My beta calls are at 3 pm. and he is the first person I call either way. I bought a little Colts onesie somewhere, but at this point don't know where.

We (my cousin and I) are actually thinking that maybe my cousin will tell DH, then he can tell me! :-)

I *thought* I would tell him by giving him a football onsie (sp?) of his favorite team but I dont know at this point....all of the uncertainty between poas, 1st beta, 2nd beta etc....I think I will be paranoid for a while but obviously I wont wait until the second beta to tell him....

this is how i told DH... i had a hunch (b/c i got a + at 8dpo but didn't test out the trigger so i wasn't sure) and put this together the night before...then POAS the next morning (at 12dpo) and got the 2 lines.... i ran up to him w/my laptop and said, "hey honey! you have to see this picture of the dog!" and then showed him this image on my computer:

My DH is a HUGE Nascar fan. I bought a onesie and a bib with his favorite driver on it. Hopefully,..... one day soon I will be able to give it to him.

The plan is that I won't have to tell DH, because he will be right there with me. We both really want that moment to be something we share together. Anytime I've POAS, he's been right there with me watching for those pink lines. He even gets more antsy than I do waiting for the timer to buzz.

I always had a plan of how I would do it, but as it turns out, that is not how I did it on Monday. I had tested in the morning and thought I saw a faint line but didn't tell DH. I held it all day at work and POAS at the end of the day. I was too shocked and happy to wait until I got home. I sent him a text message that said 'IT WORKED' and then I called him.
