NBR: not fake grass!

Someone asked in a PP if the grass in my siggy pic was fake! It's not. I live in TN and this pic was taken today. It has literally gotten green in maybe the last couple of days. Spring has sprung here all of the sudden!

Funny that you say that though, My FIL (who has too much money, and spends it on stupid things) has fake grass in part of his "yard" and though it actually looks really good, it is weird that it is so green in the middle of winter!?

    We sprinkle winter rye grass seed in the fall and our lawn looks green all winter!  We live in so. cal.  Then, in the spring we sprinkle St. Augustine grass seed so that it looks green all summer.  It's all about sprinkling the season appropriate grass seed.  I'm sure if we lived somewhere where it gets below 0 then nothing would work, though.

    That was me!! I'm so jealous!! We don't really have a spring here....it goes right into the Hot summer!
